Safety Information
The Safety Information Group incorporates the Safety Investigation Unit, the Safety Analysis Unit, the Communications and Safety Education Unit, and the Law Enforcement Unit.
Occurrences are investigated to find out if there are safety lessons to be learnt from them. The data from occurrences that are reported and investigated is analysed to see where safety improvement efforts are best targeted. Communications and Safety Education use publications and seminars to improve aviation safety.
