Process for Verification of UK CAA Flight Crew or Engineer Licences

As part of the process for the issue of a New Zealand (NZ) licence using a current equivalent qualification issued by the authority of any other ICAO member state, the CAA of NZ (CAA) are required to verify licence details with the issuing state.

The UK CAA now requires their individual licence holders who wish to have their UK licence details released to the CAA to submit the appropriate verification authorisation form together with the associated fee to the UK CAA before such information will be released.

Based solely on our understanding of the situation, some guidance about the UK CAA requirements is provided below.

For more specific information UK CAA licence holders should contact the UK CAA directly, www.caa.co.uk
