Pilot Syllabus Review Consultation - Appendix II Subject No 64 Basic Turbine Knowledge
In response to feedback the Subject No 64 Basic Turbine Knowledge (BTK) has been reviewed.
Items 64.32 and 64.34 have been deleted as they are covered in subject No 48 – ATPL Advanced Aerodynamics, Performance and Systems Knowledge (Aeroplane).
Fuel, lubrication and instrumentation sections have been rationalised with the equivalent PPL/CPL/ATPL Aircraft Technical Knowledge to reflect in BTK the applicability to turbine engines, whereas in the ATK syllabuses the items relate to reciprocating engines or are generic in nature.
