Most Civil Aviation Rules are accompanied by Advisory Circulars that provide explanatory information and examples of how to comply with the rule.

The CAA offers a FREE notification service that will send you an email alerting you to some changes relating to rules, airspace, and airworthiness. This is provided as a helpful aid – you should not rely on any such service for compliance – email is too unreliable for that.

There have been some reliability problems with the current system, and if you experience difficulty subscribing, or receiving notifications, we apologise. A new system will be in place later this year to overcome this.
