Emergency Rules
Section 31 empowers the Director of Civil Aviation to make Emergency Rules from time to time in accordance with section 35 as may be necessary to alleviate or minimise any risk of the death of, or a serious injury to any person, or of damage to any property. An Emergency Rule is effective for 90 days from its date of notification in the Gazette. Emergency Rules currently in force are listed on this page.
The CAA offers a FREE notification service that will automatically alert you, via email, to changes in legislation. While it is your responsibility to make sure all your legislation is up-to-date, this service should assist.
