Inspections

All non-certificated aerodromes that are published in the AIP New Zealand, Vol 4 are subject to an inspection by the CAA once every three years, and there is no charge for these inspections. The purpose of these inspections is to ensure that the aerodrome meets the applicable standards, and that the information contained in the AIP New Zealand, Vol 4 is correct.

Operators are notified prior to these inspections and if there are serious discrepancies found, then the operator may be requested to withdraw the information from the AIP New Zealand, Vol 4 until such time that the discrepancies are corrected.
