IA (Inspection Authorisation) Certificate Courses

A Part 66 IA Certificate is an additional qualification, over and above holding a Part 66 AME Licence, to perform and certify the following two maintenance functions:

  1. a Review of Airworthiness (RA)
  2. conformity of Major Modifications and Repairs.

2013 Renewal Courses

A renewal course for the Certificate of Inspection Authorisation will be run at CAA offices in Wellington on 18 and 19 July 2013; numbers are limited to 18 attendees.

If your certificate has expired, is due to expire, or you no longer meet the currency requirements of CAR Part 66.207, you will need to attend a renewal course. The certificate duration period of 60 months is referenced in CAR Part 66.11(c).
